From an elevated tee, players must favour the right side of the fairway to set up an easier approach shot that takes the greenside pond out of play, opening up the green. The fairway, however, slopes right to left and will push balls to the left. Approach shots from this position will be difficult as the green becomes shallower, while two bunkers flank the bail out area to the right.
